The electronic auction system of the Romanian Commodities Exchange (RCE) is a set of Internet applications ensuring interaction between the participants in the procedures organized by RCE on the auction market. The system is compliant with the European rules and the national legislation in the procurement field.
  

In order to provide a fair access to all economic agents, each stage of the procedures, except for the price establishing sessions, may simultaneously be performed electronically and physically on RCE’s floors.
  

The system ensures a high security degree: all interactions therewith are transmitted encrypted, the documents are loaded in an encrypted form and the authenticity of the persons interacting with the system is ensured by use of electronic signature.
 
Technically speaking, the requirements are minimal: a computer connected to the Internet.
