Education
The experience and know-how accumulated by the Romanian Commodities Exchange (RCE) by means of a continuous trading activity is outlined by organizing specialization courses. The main objective of such educational programs provided by RCE is the implementation of financial culture and practices on the Romanian market.
Therefore, given the increasing demand for special training at the level of the Romanian business environment, the range of RCE courses was diversified through the development of the offer of specialization courses on exchange topics: risk management, derivatives, financial management, project management, investments etc.
Therefore, in anticipation of the students’ needs, the quality of the organized courses organized by RCE increased considerably, two major directions being under pursuit: training the lectors for such courses abroad and preparing course documentation in hard copy and/or electronic format having an adequate editorial content and a superior graphic quality.
During the period comprised between 1992 and 2005, more than 850 persons attended the improvers’ courses organized by RCE, and the increase in the annual graduation percentage demonstrates the participants’ extended interest in improving their knowledge in the exchange field.
The quality of the educational process is ensured by:
- Complete course materials containing the latest information in the exchange field, supplementing the theoretical issues with technical elements and practical training session (examples, applications, case studies, workshops);
- The lectors' team – specialists with a wealthy practical experience, accumulated at RCE and during specialization courses abroad;
- Course interactivity – real examples and modern active communication techniques in the exchange environment (case studies and applications, team exercises and group debates, workshops, transaction simulations, etc) which help the students to use in practice the newly accumulated information;
- Optimum training environment – accepting maximum 20 persons at one course, in order to ensure interactivity during practical sessions;
- Appropriate technical equipment (laptops, video projectors, rear projectors, flipcharts, smart board, documentation room, etc) used during the performance of the training sessions;
- Additional equipment (course documentation in hard copy and/or electronic format, brochures, publications, magazines, newsletters, tests, evaluation forms etc.)
- Certification – after graduating the specialization courses, the participants shall be issued participation certificates
