ANL saved over 3.1 millions at the procurements through the Exchange

The Romanian Commodities Exchange (RCE) organized in the first half of November 2007, at his central headquarters from Bucharest, two open auctions followed by open outcry of price, through which The National Agency for Homes bought construction materials to rebuilt the houses destroyed by the calamities.

 

It's the third consecutive year since ANL, in capacity of contracting authority within RCE floor- period in which nine auctions were performed- beneficed, due to the outcry7 auction system, by the obtaining of some favorable price improvements important in comparison with the value initial estimated.

 

The procurement total value performed on RCE's floor in the period October-November, 2007 for: cement, armor, relief-work components, wood, gravel pit aggregates, full brick for smoke chimneys, clean plate, rectangular timber, internal doors, external doors, windows amounted at 26.8 millions Ron (including VAT). Gheorghe Popescu- ANL general manager, declared that the savings made through these products procurement within RCE's floor was of over 3.1 millions in comparison with the value initial estimated by ANL.

 

In the second half of November, ANL bought on RCE's floor the following construction materials: Full brick for smoke chimneys, folded table, rectangular timber, internal doors, external doors and windows. In the annexed table, are presented all the awarded positions and the price information related: the starting price in the outcry auction, the awarding price and the contract price.

The product for which was obtained the biggest price improvement in comparison with the initial financial offer was folded table for which was obtained a improvement of the procurement price in comparison with the starting price with 34.8%. %.                                      

 

The 16 participants that submitted offers to participate at the construction materials procurement procedure were the companies: Negura SRL, Robel Doors SRL, Forever Pipe SRL, Metabras SA, Direct SRL, Constam Metal şi Industrie SA, Macofil SA, Silvania Internaţional Prod SRL, MIS Grup SRL, Gealan România SRL, Metale Internaţional SRL, Magica Impex SRL, Kronmat SRL, Lemcor SA, Adems SRL, Roarco SRL.

The products shall be delivered by the suppliers until December 10,2007, in the districts Galati, Vaslui and Vrancea.
