RATB sales through RCE waste exceeding USD 1 million10th of July 2006 The highest transaction realised in the exchange floor of Romanian Commodities Exchange last week was the one through which RATB sold several lots of waste with a total value of USD 1,165,625. TAROM also made two procurements in the Bucharest exchange floor (protection equipments and luncheon vouchers), transactions that rose to approximately USD 1 million. RCE and its territorial work points organised together 42 auctions in the period 3rd - 7th of July 2006, with a total trading value of USD 6.1 million. The favourable price differences obtained by the participants in this period amounted USD 1.3 million. On Bucharest exchange floor took place 20 auctions with a total trading value of approximately USD 4.5 million. Together with RATB and TAROM, the following contracting authorities participated in the auctions organised by RCE: Metrorex, Petrom SA Membru OMV Group, ANL, CFR, CFR Calatori, Nuclearelectrica, Autoritatea Rutiera Romana, Agentia Domeniilor Statului, Imprimeria Nationala and Aeroportul International Aurel Vlaicu Bucuresti Baneasa. Among the commodities traded were: grit and gravel, protection equipment, auto vehicles, rubber plates, carriage hardware, polypropylene sacks, alcohol test vials, etc. RCE's Terminals organised in this period 22 auctions reaching a total trading value of USD 1.6 million. With only 4 auctions performed, BRM Terminal Timisoara established trading values of USD 815,085, with total favourable price difference exceeding USD 700,000. BRM Terminal Prahova organised 2 auctions - with a total trading value of USD 457,141.
